Hanguline
A downloadable game for Windows
Hanguline is a group project, made as an university final assignment for the Serious and Educational Games class. Made using Unity game engine.
- Description -
Hanguline is an educational-game made for mobile platforms. Hanguline aims to teach its players the Korean alphabet, better known as Hangul 한글, through interactive exercises and enjoyable gameplay.
With the help of Hanguline, anyone may quickly learn Hangul using their smartphone. Without the need of constantly carrying a pen and paper, they can quickly practice and learn how to write Hangul letters on their phone!
- How to Play -
Play - Players are tested of their knowledge of Hangul, being tasked with drawing the different matching letters that appear on the screen. Bubbles that have letters inside (Hangul letters are written in white while Latin letters are written in black) appear on the screen periodically. The player must draw the corresponding letters (always Hangul counterparts) and press Confirm before the bubbles disappear. The game ends when the player misses 5 bubbles.
Learn - Players are taught how each Hangul letter is written step by step. They must follow the instructions on the screen, drawing the necessary lines. Snippets of information about the letters are also available on the bottom of the screen.
Shop - Points earned from the Play portion of the game can be spent here to unlock additional cosmetics.
